This shell has evolved into one of the best all season jackets made. Iditarod veteran Ken Anderson said after wearing it on the 2004 Iditarod Trail, “This is the best shell I have ever used!” The waterproof waxed canvas combined with a micro fleece lining can be worn alone in the rain and wind or over our Parka, Vest, or Jacket for winter weather. We use a 5.5 oz. waxed cotton canvas containing 20% nylon for extra strength and durability, and it’s lighter weight and more pliable in sub-zero temperatures than our older fabric. Our Waxed Canvas material is natural, stain resistant, extremely durable, breathable, waterproof, and just keeps getting better with age. Wax does not normally need to be reapplied for many years of use. Large pockets, two way arctic size 10 YKK zippers, adjustable drawstring waist, large hood.
