These colorful braided 60" wool yarn lanyards are perfect for tethering musher mitts around your neck so they can hang by your sides when you shake them off.  They are custom made for mushing by our daughters, Emma and Greta, out of multi-colored Icelandic Wool yarn.  Thickness of the braid is about 1/2" and is braided from 27 strands of yarn.  The advantage of a braided lanyard is that they have some stretch and tend to cling to your jacket so they don't slide around.
